With the change of the times, the form of art is also changing constantly, especially in the contemporary era,a society dominated by consumer culture;traditional easel painting has also been impacted by more and more new media,so how to create good works of art in this new era has become the responsibility of artists in this era.Does this mean that only the use of new media can be called contemporary art? The answer is obviously negative. The contemporary nature of art is not determined by the media.Any good work of art originates from the artist's sincere thinking and Reflection on society and people. This paper will be the mainstream media(TV,film). From the narrow sense of human beauty created in advertisements, this paper analyses the expression of "beauty" in works of art in different periods,in order to expose the narrowness and falseness of beauty created by the mainstream media nowadays. They only extract the most superficial part of beauty, which can only be called beautiful at best, while sublime is degraded to comic. If the real "beauty" brings people's shock and Reflection on life, then the "beauty" in modern society only brings people's sensory pleasure. This article will discuss the significance of body symbol in today's artistic creation by discussing the changing law of body symbol in art history. In my own creation, with the non-traditional body(broken joints reassembled). It is hoped that the creation in this way will make the viewer notice the other side of our body, and make people realize that the beauty of our body is not shaped by the mainstream culture in this complex and changeable era with warning and critical painting language. The so-called "perfect" body is not the only standard.Beauty takes many forms.
