The Exploration Of Lines In Xu Beihong's Chinese Paintings

As the leading figure of new China' s art education,Xu Beihong' s artistic attainment is of decisive value for contemporary artists' artistic creation,especially ink painting creation.To re-examine xu beihong's works and his artistic concept is tantamount to reinterpreting contemporary art works from the root.As for Xu Beihong's artistic path,Sullivan commented:"in a relatively short career,Xu Beihong has gone through the journey from a painter who painted ancestor portraits in the late qing dynasty to a salon oil painter and then to a model artist...It sets a high standard for students in terms of artistic skill and seriousness of purpose.Thus,the purpose of this paper is to model according to the ancestors portrait painter,salon painter to the artist's identity change path,with its paintings of the line in the form of the modal of the rheological,applied the method of sociological background image and form analysis to reinterpret the works.Based on this,we try to interpret the contemporary value of his works of art and make us see the contemporary value of traditional art more clearly.
