Analysis Of Boneless Flower And Bird Painting

Mogu originated in the Northern Song Dynasty and became an independent painting method only after Yun Shouping of the Qing Dynasty.It has been handed down from generation to generation and has a history of thousands of years.Its unique form of expression,light color and ink,elegant aesthetic style,still for contemporary painters to learn from."Mo" means submerged and implicit.It conceals the "gu" which means bone,does not draw the outline in the picture,and depicts the image directly with color and ink.It is not constrained by contour 1 ines,and plays its unique modelling advantage between fine brushwork and freehand brushwork.The most special feature of Mogu is its boundary features:fine brushwork,freehand brushwork,color,ink,lyric,reproducible...Because of this,in the development process of art history,especially in the contemporary era,people can not have the same interpretation and use of Mogu.There are more and more divergences and different opinions,and the basic concepts have been expanded a lot.Based on this situation,I want to put forward my own understanding of Mogu by summarizing the basic concepts and related art history.I also want to use aforementioned painting method in my drawing practice.
