A Preliminary Study Of Chinese Exploratory Artist Statements From 1979 To The Present

The thesis conducts the diachronique and synchronic classification of the exploratory-style Artists' Statements from 1979 to the present,which differentiates itself from the traditional Contemporary Art narrative mode with the centre of artists and their works.Based on the clustered questions about the Artists' Statements formed during different time periods,the discussion about the Contemporary Art is conducted,aiming to fill in the dead zone of the art history and art criticism centred by artists and their works via the analysis of the Artists' Statements.
