Moral education in our country has a long history.It can be traced back to Confucianism in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period at the earliest.Confucian thinkers put forward a series of doctrines and thoughts about people's moral cultivation,which had a far-reaching impact on both then and later generations.As the representative of Confucianism,Hsun-Tzu's doctrine is based on Confucianism,not on Confucian standpoint,not sticking to Confucian Chen's doctrine,inspecting the shortcomings of parents and synthesizing the doctrines of various scholars,and became a materialistic thinker in the pre-Qin period.Hsun-Tzu attached great importance to the moral education of human beings,and wrote books to express his unique views on moral education.His moral education thought not only has the characteristic,but also presents the systematic characteristic.Based on the study of Hsun-Tzu and related literature,this paper expounds HsunTzu's moral education thought,mainly studies the moral education content in HsunTzu's ethical thought,and ponders on its enlightenment and value to contemporary moral education,so as to promote the innovation and development of contemporary moral education.This paper clarifies the source and reason of the topic of this paper,and lays a solid foundation for the study through the research and analysis of the relevant literature at home and abroad.The historical background of Hsun-Tzu's life is the Warring States Period.This paper focuses on the analysis of the economic,political and cultural historical factors in the formation of his moral education thoughts,and the causes and concrete manifestations of Hsun-Tzu as a "master" of all the moral education thoughts.In view of the specific content of Hsun-Tzu's moral education thought,this article focuses on Hsun-Tzu's moral education purpose and significance,moral judgment standards,moral education methods and ways,moral behavior,and systematically expounds Hsun-Tzu's views on theory of evil human nature,honor and disgrace,etiquette and law,moral cultivation and charity ethics.At the same time,based on the actual situation of contemporary moral education,this paper analyses and studies the Enlightenment of Hsun-Tzu's moral education thought on the basic theory of moral education,socialist concept of honor and disgrace education,charity ethics education and so on.Undoubtedly,the study of Hsun-Tzu's moral education thought can provide ideological source for the innovative development of contemporary moral education.However,Hsun-Tzu's moral education thought has some limitations because it originated from a specific historical background.Therefore,the study and study of Hsun-Tzu's moral education thought should be carried out with the attitude of "taking the essence and eliminating the dross".If we want to connect it with the current reality,we can better serve the contemporary moral education.
