A Preliminary Study On The Grammar Of The Image Symbol System In "Book From The Ground"

With the development of globalization and the popularity of QQ,WeChat and other communication tools,image symbols are more and more widely used in crosscultural communication and people's daily life.As a kind of generalized language behavior,symbol is also a language,while image is a kind of structural communication symbol,which belongs to the category of semiotics and linguistics.The book created by a total of around 8000 novella image symbols,is entirely written by all kinds of graphics and image symbols recording 24 hours a day in the typical modern whitecollar life.This book is widely accepted because its image symbol system has own lexical and syntactic rules.At present,there is little research on the image symbol system of Dishu in the linguistic field,and we think these problems are worth studying.From the perspectives of logic,linguistics and philosophy of language,this paper tries to show the morphological and syntactic expression forms and characteristics of the image symbol system of Dishu,and innovatively simplifies and revises its image symbol system.On this basis,this paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the lexical study of the image symbol system in Dishu.In this part,we make up for the deficiency of previous studies from the perspective of the words in the book.We believe that the image symbols in Dishu can express both individual concepts and universal concepts,and there are fixed forms and rules.In terms of language logic,we mainly consider the description and expression of limited and unlimited descriptions by image symbols in Dishu,and discuss the "referential" and "descriptive" names and descriptions.The second part is the syntactic study of the image symbol system in Dishu.In this part,we analyze the word order of the image symbol system and the expression forms of single sentences and complex sentences respectively from the perspective of the sentences of Dishu.On the basis of the book,we find its regularity and characteristics in the various expressions of single sentences and complex sentences.The basic statement word order in the book is mainly SVO word order,which means that the author is influenced by mature languages such as Chinese and English and adopts the thinking mode commonly used in the author's daily life.At the same time,there are many special word orders and structure forms in Dishu,which is the special manifestation of visual immediacy of image symbols.The third part is the simplification and revision of the image symbol system of Dishu.Due to the artistry of the book,there are many repetitions and irregularities in its image symbol system.We have analyzed and explored it with economic principles,and revised and simplified it on the basis of collation and comparison.On the basis of retaining the characteristics and rules of Dishu,through the revision,it tries to make up for the deficiencies of Dishu image symbol system in a wider range of applications,which undoubtedly allows Dishu image symbol to go further in expression.
