With the Tang dynasty as the climax of the economic and cultural development in China's history,the development of art was flourishing under such a epitomized social background,showing the characteristics of contention of a hundred schools of thought,which is abundant and lively.The artistic achievement of Dunhuang Caves,a wonderful work of art with Buddhism as its theme,has reached a historical peak.It covers a wide range of contents,unique artistic styles,brilliant decorative patterns,and contains many national cultures,which is as shining as the brightest stars in the Milky Way.Under the background that Dunhuang murals,in Tang dynasty,are dominant in politics,economy,culture and other fields,they have absorbed the culture and art of many countries and nations on the Silk Road,formed the Dunhuang style based on Chinese traditional culture and compatible with other foreign customs,and created the art treasure house of Dunhuang.In the artistic creation of Dunhuang murals in the whole Tang dynasty,the color collocation is undoubtedly eye-catching.In the Dunhuang murals of this period,the color language is rich and has its own system,which are bright,solemn,sacred and contrasting.Based on the combination of theory and practice creation,creates in the study of the Tang dynasty in color performance of Dunhuang mural,records and summarizes how to use watercolor,toner and other media as the tools in a real time,to conduct the thorough research of the decoration painting creation and innovation,and strives to sums up the how the Dunhuang color was used in the Luse·Xinyu,so as to form the author's new style and color system.Therefore,in the first chapter of this paper,the author systematically studies the color of Dunhuang murals in the Tang dynasty,and analyzes their color composition and specific color configuration.The second chapter takes the series of works Luse ·Xinyu as an example,conducts in-depth comparative demonstration on the influence of gorgeous colors in Dunhuang murals on the author's creation with examples,and preliminarily discusses the expression methods of the series of works Luse·Xinyu in terms of colors.The third chapter illustrates the materials and drawing methods used for reference and application in the creation process of Luse·Xinyu.The fourth chapter summarizes the experience in the creation.
