Dongba hieroglyph is a pictographic hieroglyph created by the Naxi ancestors.In the language of the Naxi,Dongba on behalf of wisdom.The language of the Naxi is translated as " Dongba " through pronunciation.This kind of writing is mainly used for the people of Naxi to preside over sacrifice and record the scriptures,so It is called Dongba hieroglyph.In the 21 st century,The function of the Dongba hieroglyph in recording and recognition are increasingly weakened,even the people of Naxi usually know very little about it,but the aesthetic value of this kind of writing itself is increasingly prominent?In the aspect of aesthetic,Dongba hieroglyph has interesting character modeling structure and simple but unique graphic decorative art characteristics,It makes the ancient writing exuding vitality by designing and using in the modern life.The pursuit of innovation and beauty contributed to the emergence of Dongba characters fashion performance.However,how can make the Dongba hieroglyph be fashion performance needs to ponder.From the perspective of font design,I study and analyze Dongba hieroglyph.The research content is mainly divided into four parts.First,the part combs the development of the Dongba hieroglyph system,and analyzes the current situation of it from the aspects of character recognition and application.Secondly,from the perspective of font design,the part research the modeling structure and decorative arts of Dongba hieroglyph by analysis.Thirdly,the part takes fashion as the entry point to explore the fashion expression of Dongba hieroglyph.Analyze the cases of Dongba hieroglyph in font designing,product designing and other aspects of fashion performance and application in the life,summarizing the design methods and techniques in fashion expression of Dongba hieroglyph.Fourth,this part explores the inspiration of Dongba hieroglyph on font designing,combining with the summary of the design methods and presentation techniques apply into the font designing and cultural product designing.
