As one of the earliest "exotic" music styles that influenced Western music,gypsy music style attracted extensive attention of Western musicians in the early 18th century.Over the years,the music style of gypsy has formed many music cultural centers in Europe.Among them,the gypsy music style of Hungary and its surrounding countries under the influence of the German-Austrian music system is the most representative.This Gypsy style first appeared in Haydn's music creation.After constant attempts and practices by musicians such as Mozart.Beethoven,Weber and Schubert,it finally matured in Lisztand Brahms'music creation.Its representative works are Hungarian Rhapsody and Hungarian Dances respectively.And the Hungarian Dances throughout the early and middle of the author's music creation,all music and the dance is the author works in one of the most well known,every dance full of contrast material of music,the rhythm of the rich and changeful,and distinctive music mood,are all like;And this set of dance music has been and respectively by Brahms himself,Dvorak and other composers adapted for orchestral music,The violinist Joseph Achim also chapter adapted for violin solo,often as a concert repertoire,especially the fifth Hungarian Dance music has become a popular classic works.Through three chapters,this paper will explain how to correctly grasp the characteristics of gypsy music style in Brahms'Hungarian Dances.Chapter one combs the characteristics,origin and development of gypsy music style and summarizes its influence on Brahms 'creation.Chapter two focuses on the specific embodiment of gypsy music style in Brahms' Hungarian Dances through detailed spectral analysis.Chapter three combines closely with piano playing techniques in Brahms'Hungarian Dances.The correct grasp of gypsy music style in performance is discussed.
