This study takes novels of Huang beijia as research object,starting from the point of death.Different from traditional research thinking which takes the author's creation track as the clue,this study tries to excavate personalized subject consciousness of narrators attached behind discourse from the view of narratology,discusses causes,expression and aesthetic character of death ideology in Huang Beijia's novels,explores further the unique death narrative construction of Huang Beijia,who is both a female intellectual and a children's literature writer.Therefore,Huang Beijia's novels and she,as an author,will be further comprehended.Firstly,in the introduction part,research status of this topic is combed and integrated,significance and value of studying Huang Beijia's novels from the perspective of death narrative are stated,research thoughts,approaches and innovative point in this thesis are pointed out.Secondly,by combing death writing in Chinese literature,inevitability why Chinese death narrative tradition and death narrative perspective were introduced into Huang Beijia's novels is discussed,thereby cultural background,social and historical environment and personal reasons that influenced Huang Beijia's death narrative are analyzed.Thirdly,on the basis of reading the text and characteristics and functions of death narrative,death in Huang Beijia's novels is divided into four types including suicide,homicide,natural death,accidental death,and different meanings and aesthetic appeals of those four types of death are explored to grasp Huang Beijia's creation concept and stand of value.Then differences between death narrative style in Huang Beijia's children's literature filled with goodwill and love and that in adult literature expressing confusion and pursuit and also interrelationship between the two styles on theme and manifestation are explored.And it is found that uniqueness of Huang Beijia's death narrative lies between adults and children.Lastly,aiming to make more comprehensive and round comparison and based on study of the previous part,Huang Beijia is compared with two contemporaneous female writers including Wang Anyi and Chi Zijian.Uniqueness of Huang Beijia's death narrative among female writers is thought further and investigated under the setting of traditional tragedy art aesthetics and tragedy consciousness of modern people.Her grim but tender tragedy aesthetics is expressed more persuasively and intuitively,in which Huang Beijia's cognition on aesthetics and literature can be revealed and uniqueness of her death narrative and literature narrative can be confirmed.
