As a significant movement in the history of western vocal music,The Romantic Period Music in 19 th century that inherited,developed and innovated classical music which formed a diversified style.Under the influence of the ever-changing European society,the evolution of the cultural field created a large number of composers with unique artistic styles in the early days of romanticism.Among them,as the "Viennese court musician",Donizetti's extraordinary creative talents were not merely based on the works of literary writers in the romantic period but also good at exquisite handwriting to depict the inner characteristics of a musical character,giving it a more vivid image.As a consequence,his work was more romantic.This article,from Donizetti's first opera work "Linda di Chamounix" created by the court of Vienna,an entry point to discover its rich musical techniques for the aria of "O luce di quest' anima" is a meticulous creation and artistic treatment.Through the study of the artistic characteristics of the composer's creation,combined with the Coloratura singing,focusing on the singing skills of the sound and the sound,perceiving the whole drama which including the aria of the main line of emotions of the characters,the expression of the brave and kind character of the heroine Linda,and the composer's love,freedom,boldness and meticulous emotional expression and sincere and beautiful human pursuit in the romantic period.The above research has a profound meaning for combing the artistic characteristics of the composer,enriching the opera characters in the romantic period,and training coloratura soprano singing skills.It is more powerful to convey the connotation of the composer's works and form an emotional resonance with the audience.This paper is divided into two chapters which explores the Donizetti's opera "The Linda of Chamonix" and the aria "O luce di quest' anima" and analyzes their performance:The first chapter include that knowing Donizetti's musical life,the background of the birth of the opera "The Linda of Chamonix" and the content and the features of the opera.The other part which including that by analyzing the lyrics of "O luce di quest'anima" from the perspective of the structure of the music.There are two parts about the second chapter which including that by analyzing the most important characteristics about the figure by using three features who used by three singers as the research objects.Combining the author's learning experience and thinking,from the theme music,the melody and the ending part of the aria,summed up the unified expression of the emotion and sound in the Coloratura singing.Donizetti's opera works have been deeply influencing the author,especially the aria works created by the composer for the Coloratura soprano.And in the course of professional learning,the author sang Donizetti's arias many times,which gave a certain understanding and comprehension of the melody style and the emotional characteristics of the characters.The author wants to better grasp the connotation of the deep level of music creation and apply it to practice singing through the in-depth study of Donizetti's opera field.
