At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the study of Ci was revitalized and historically called "the revival of Ci in Qing Dynasty".The Cao clan in Anqiu,Shandong Province, was deeply influenced by Confucianism. They attached great importance to their studies, elegant poetry, practical use,people-oriented,self-restraint and honest government for the people, accumulated for several generations, nurtured excellent family customs and family precepts, and became a cultural family.Cao Zhenji is a member of the 12th Cao family in Anqiu,a famous writer in the early Qing Dynasty. He lost his parents at an early age, depended on his widow and younger brother, and unfortunately lost his mother and younger brother in middle age.He is talented, diligent and eager to learn, but the imperial road has experienced several twists and turns, three times should be cited to the top.Involved by his younger brother Cao Shenji, his official career was not smooth.Looking at his life, his fate is miserable and frustrating.Cao Zhenji has extensive friendship with scholars. He knows each other very well and cherishes each other. All these have had a profound impact on his literary creation and style formation. In Cao Zhenji's literary creation, the achievements of poetry creation are magnificent, such as "The first Collection of Kexue","The second Collection of Kexue","Poetry of Shian","Chaotian Collection","Hongzhao Collection","Poetry for traveling of Huangshan" and so on Jointly with Jiashan poet Cao Erkan,it is called the "North and South two Cao"There are only 27 manuscripts in his works, which reflect his poetic and Ci concepts.Cao Zhenji is especially famous for his Ci-poems.He is known as the "most elegant" CI poet in the early Qing Dynasty. He is also known as the "three outstanding poets in Beijing" along with Nalan Xingde and Gu Zhenguan. His ci-poems adopt all kinds of merits, and their style is delicate, magnificent and broad-minded.Kexue Ci,the collection of Ci poems, plays an important role in Qing Ci poems and is the only collection of Qing Ci poems in Sikuquanshu.Imagery is an important way to study poetry.Cao Zhenji's Ci poems are rich in imagery, mainly including natural imagery and human imagery.Natural images are frequently used, including meteorological, plant and animal images;human images include objects, places and characters.Taste Cao Zhenji's CI poems, both graceful and delicate charm, but also without losing the vigorous and vast style, charm is very different but coexistent, its image selection and image structure should have a close relationship. The image of Kexue Ci contains profound emotional implications, such as the sorrow of leaving relatives and friends, the bitterness of missing, the lament of the frustration of his unfortunate life and fate, and the sigh of the rise and fall of history and the concern of real life.Compared with Nalan Xingde's misery and lingering imagery and Gu Zhenguan's miserable and exquisite imagery,Cao Zhengji's imagery is common, graceful but not flamboyant, bold and not vulgar, forming a elegent and upright style of Ci.
