Yi Zhenji, called Qiye or Yuecha, was born in Shangyuan (now Nanjing city). His birth and death is unknown, and he generally lived in the Ming Dynasty, Wanli and Chongzhen years. His work is called "Qiujiaxuan Shiyu" which includes of1184Ci poems. This is the maximum number of words in Ming Dynasty poet. In this thesis, I will demonstrate Yi Zhenji and "Qiujiaxuan Shiyu" mainly from the following aspects:The first chapter is about Yi Zhenji’s life and friends. Historical materials about the life of Yi Zhenji are sparse and difficult to obtain. In close of reading text carefully and trying to collect materials as much as possible, this chapter proves out Yi Zhenji’s birth year, and according to his life experiences we have put life into three stages. About friends of the Yi Zhenji, relevant information is also very small, they are mainly his colleagues known in his official period. The second chapter is to study "Qiu Jiaxuan Shiyu". The first section analyses the content. In "Qiu Jiaxuan" Ci poetry, number of poems is big, and content is also more widely, which can be divided into five major categories. In the foundation of the content analysis, the second section perspectives poet’s emotion in the works. Yi Zhenji is the contradiction of a mind lofty hero, an easy sentimental poet, a natural "hermit". The third section is the research of art style. This set shows a leading style as artistic bold and unconstrained characteristics. Because Yi Zhenji imitated Xin Qiji’s "as article as the Ci" writing techniques, the long poems have the tendency of prose. The third chapter is divided into two sections to discuss Yi Zhenji’s learning for Xin Qiji and Tao Yuanming. Yi Zhenji adored Xin Qiji as a kind of ideal personality, and chosen Tao Yuanming under the pressure of reality. In the fourth chapter, I analysis the reasons of why Yi Zhenji was "forgotten", and judgement Yi Zhenji’s status in the history of literature in Ming Dynasty. Although Yi Zhenji was not the first stream poet, but he was an outstanding represent of "style of Jiaxuan" in Ming Dynasty. His position should be recognized.
