The Visual Presentation Of Digital Technology In The Protection Of Cultural Relics

How to apply modern digital technology to the protection of cultural relics is the new direction in the research work of cultural relics protection at present.Based on the creation practice of the documentary The New Stone Tablet,the Real Craftsman,this paper transforms the audio-visual elements in the image works:into the written language in order to expound the narrative clue relationship between the stone tablets themselves and the digital cultural relics protection technology.The video works focus on the narrative line of "The first national survey of movable cultural relics in Shaanxi province",which is the detailed survey aiming at cultural relics carried out in The Kaicheng Stone Classics and The Shitai Filial Piety,two important cultural relics in Xi'an Beilin Museum.By introducing various digital protection technologies used in the project work,this paper arouses people's awareness of the protection and inheritance of stone cultural relics in China,and could deeply understand how digital information technology is applied in the work of cultural protection under the background of cultural development in the new era,the impact of technical participation on the work of cultural relics protection and the development direction of cultural relics protection in the future.Thus,the audience could better feel the powerful vitality of the integraition and innovation between culture and technology.Through case analysis combined with the literature research,field investigation and in-depth interview method and other research methods,this paper mainly explains the six aspects of the film,including background,conception,the establishment of narrative perspectives in technical cultural relics protection images,image shaping in technical cultural relics protection images,narrative techniques and creation experience and reflection.Combining narratology and art theory,this paper analyses how the documentary The New Stone Tablet,the Real Craftsman reflects the practical effect of digital technology in the protection of cultural relics through the limited perspective and the theory of group figures.Through the formation of narrative text integration and presentation of artistic elements in camera pictures,audio-visual language expression of image texts and other creative techniques,the film shows the creative thinking of the director.It also makes a preliminary discussion and reflection on characteristics of artistic creation and humanistic care in documentaries on cultural relics protection,reflecting the current situation and practical significance of cultural relics protection work in the era of technological innovation.The establishment of narrative perspectives,the image shaping and the narrative skills in technical cultural relics protection images are the key chapters of this paper.In the chapter of establishment of narrative perspectives in technical cultural relics protection images,we mainly analyze the image characteristics of internal and external perspectives and their expression in the works of the documentary The New Stone Tablet,the Real Craftsman to reflect the application of limited perspectives in technical cultural relics protection images;the fourth chapter of the paper is to carry out a research aiming at the subject in works,that is,the professional group of digital cultural relics protection workers,in order to analyze the artistic presentation of the group figures in technical cultural relics protection images,to compare the scene scheduling of single-actor and multi-actors in the screen,and to explore how audio-visual language represents the group image of cultural relics protection workers.Combined with the creative practice of the documentary The New Stone Tablet,the Real Craftsman,the author elaborates the narrative skills of the technical cultural relics protection images from three aspects,namely,multi-clue narration,detailed processing of audio-visual rhetoric and excavation of the characters' inner feelings.Influenced by the same kind of film and television themes,the work The New Stone Tablet,the Real Craftsman fully integrates digital technology application,stone tablet cultural relics and cultural relics protection workers,forming a narrative model of "three in one",highlighting the important role of new technology in cultural relics protection work,as well as the value and practical significance of cultural relics protection workers,so as to strengthen the film's humanistic care.The work The New Stone Tablet,the Real Craftsman is a documentary which records the application of digital technology in the protection of stone cultural relics as its main content.It is obviously different from the general technical introductory film.While showing the digital technology in the scenes,the author adds an invisible narrative clue,that is,attitudes and perceptions of cultural relics protection workers in the process of conservation and restoration of stone cultural relics,which are run through the whole image-text.The cultural relics protection workers in the film are not only the introducers of digital technology,but also the hard-working and ideal workers like other social groups engaged in other occupations.Film narrative intervenes from a defamiliarized perspective,the narrator records from a bystander's perspective,but does not interfere with the development of the story.It reflects the development history and preservation status of the important historical relics in the collection of Xi'an Beilin Museum and records the function of digital technology in the preservation of cultural relics.At the same time,it deals with and summarizes the problems encountered in the process of filming image works,so as to achieve the research purpose of combining theory with practice.
