On Xunzi's Thought Of "Transforming Nature And Promoting Pseudo"

Late Warring States Period,in the Central Plains earth was born an ideological giants,he was admired by later generations for his extensive and profound philosophy and was called "Xunzi".Xunzi critically inherited and absorbed many theories of various schools of thought under the background of economic development,social turbulence and contention of a hundred schools of thought,creatively constructed his own philosophical thought system,and initiated new ways and new thoughts of Confucianism.Xunzi's thought has far-reaching historical influence and important theoretical research value.The purpose that Xunzi said human nature is not only to reveal the characteristics of human nature as "evil",but also to change the " evil" nature by taking the theory of evil of human nature as the theoretical cornerstone and stressing that people should pay attention to the cultivation of virtue through " turning nature by human factors ".Xunzi think that the lust in human nature is born from heaven.,and it does not matter good or evil,and cannot be completely eliminated.Evil essentially comes from endless indulgence of lust.Therefore,this "evil" must be rationally regulated within the scope of "propriety and righteousness".This is the process of " turning nature by human factors".Therefore,Xunzi's " Transform of human nature " is actually " change of desire",which is mainly to change people's external behavior,rather than completely eliminate people's desire.Xunzi's words of "human factor" are to make people's behavior conform to the requirements of propriety and righteousness through internal " emptiness and quietness" and external civilizing of propriety and righteousness.Fundamentally speaking,the essence of"turning nature by human factors " is " fostering desire with propriety",which enables human lust to be reasonably satisfied within the norms of propriety and righteousness,so as to achieve the goal of not wanting to be poor in things,yielding things to desires,but also stabilizing the external social order.Taking Xunzi's theory of human nature as the starting point,this paper makes a thorough analysis of Xunzi's thought of "turning nature by human factors " from the aspects of possibility,goal and specific approaches,and combines with many problems faced by our current society in order to find a solution from Xunzi's thought of "turning nature by human factors".
