Xixia Military Law Research

The army of Xixia is brave,and it is famous in Chinese history.This is closely related to its relatively complete military system.At the beginning of the article,the author mainly studies the system of the Xixia military system,discusses the military establishment of the Xixia army,military management,military duties,etc.,and compares and analyzes the three levels of military establishment,military system,and military type with the Tang and Song Dynasties.After research,it was found that Xixia and Tang and Song Dynasties have both links and differences in the military system.Taking the military system as an example,the Xixia military system is a conscription system,which is similar to the "warning of soldiers and peasants" in the early Tang Dynasty.Compared with the recruitment system of the Song Dynasty,there is a big difference.In terms of military types,both Xixia and Song Dynasty have the army existed in the border town,the army of the capital,the guardian of the state,and the part of the Xixia army are similar to the Song Dynasty.Xixia formed a strict wartime military reward and punishment system in the process of long-term and external warfare.In the second chapter,the author based on the two laws of "Zhenguan Yujing"(???????)and "Tiansheng Law "(??????????),combed the Xixia Wartime military reward.The system and the military penalty system in wartime were compared with the military reward and punishment system in the Tang and Song Dynasties.The study found that there are many similarities between Xixia and Tang and Song in the wartime military reward and punishment system.For example,when discussing the conditions of wartime military rewards,it is found that both Xixia and Song all consider kill the enemy,capture the enemy,and capture enemy weapons or materials as Reward condition,and give corresponding rewards.When discussing the methods of punishment for military law in wartime,it was found that Xixia and Song both used the punishment of the rod and the death penalty as punishment means.Xixia not only has excellent weapons,but also has formed a relatively systematic weapon management system.At the end of the article,the author explores the Xixia weapons management system,mainly introduces the Xixia weapons type,weapon allocation law,and weapon examination law,and compares and analyzes the relevant historical materials of Tang and Song Dynasties.The study found that Xixia and Tang and Song Dynasties have deep roots in the weapon system.For example,The weapons of Xixia and Tang and Song Dynasties are mainly cold weapons.The difference is that the Song Dynasty has already used firearms as an important part of military equipment.Xixia's weaponry law reflects A clear hierarchy is likely to be influenced by the "military class law" of the Song Dynasty.Through comparative study,we can see that the Xixia military law not only retains the characteristics of the nation,but also draws on and learns from the Central Plains culture,once again confirming the historical trend of national integration and showing the characteristics of the multi-integration of the Chinese nation.
