The gradual increase of urban urbanization level in China results in many intangible cultural heritage being on the verge of disappearing.The inheritance and protection of intangible cultural heritage is imminent.In pictures,newspapers,radio and other forms of help spreading intangible cultural heritage,the communication effect of documentaries is more significant.In terms of policy,the protection of intangible cultural heritage in China has been rapidly launched,and the intangible cultural heritage documentaries also take this opportunity to rise rapidly.In terms of creation,the documentary has both documentary and artistic expression techniques to expand the display form of intangible cultural heritage and inject more vitality into it.In terms of communication,the rise of new media not only brings the intangible cultural heritage into the public life,but also produces many excellent creators from the public,who enrich the creation methods of intangible cultural heritage documentaries from a personalized perspective.As an important strategic area in northwest China,the development of Gansu documentary has the unique regional cultural charm of northwest China,and has been a wave of social discussion since the 1970 s.The Silk Road,the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang and the Jiayuguan and Great Wall are the best themes of Gansu documentaries.But the images of Gansu’s intangible cultural heritage are somewhat dwarfed by comparison.In recent years,Gansu has paid more attention to the documentary creation of intangible cultural heritage.Many creators have made many attempts while learning from the creation experience of excellent domestic works.Up to now,some excellent works have entered the public view.However,from a macro perspective,the overall performance of Gansu intangible cultural heritage documentaries is relatively ordinary,and the number is small,the dissemination scope is small,and the lack of innovation.According to the development situation of intangible cultural heritage documentary,this paper analyzes the creation techniques of Gansu intangible cultural heritage documentary,and explores and reflects on the existing Gansu intangible cultural heritage documentary from the perspective of narrative expression and image construction,combined with the creation practice of the graduation work "Stone".
