In today's world, one of the more active factors in international politics is international relations. With the continuous strengthening of globalization, cooperation between countries in the world has become more frequent and closer. In particular, international relations in Central Asia are even more hot issues in world politics.Central Asia is located in the heart of Asia and connects Asia and Europe with an extremely important strategic position. This translation report takes the practice of Chinese translation of "International Relations in Central Asia in the 21 st Century" as an example. It uses functional equivalence theory as a theoretical guide to analyze the linguistic features of selected texts from lexical, lexical and syntactical levels, and from vocabulary and syntax. The two layers summarize the translation methods used in the translation process. In the process of writing a translation report, the author actually combined his own practice, summed up the problems and inexperience in the translation process, and worked hard to solve problems and overcome difficulties.I hope that through this translation practice, the author's translation ability will be improved, and I hope to provide some reference for the study of international relations in Central Asia.
