Economic globalization enhances the links between the peoples of the world,increases the dependence between ethnic groups,and accelerates the speed of global information dissemination,thus promoting the process of internationalization of higher education.In today's international environment,it is well known that higher education is an important part of the country's soft power and plays an invaluable role in international cultural exchanges.The material selected in this paper is the Realization of soft power in Central Asia: the sphere of higher education in the book Central Asia: social and humanitarian dimension.Under the guidance of the functional equivalence theory of the famous American linguist and translator Eugene Nida.Based on the vocabulary and sentence level,the linguistic characteristics of the selected texts are analyzed,and the specific methods used in the translation process are discussed.This practical report is intended to assist translation and higher education related literature. |
