With the development of Peking Opera,Wuhan and Beijing,Tianjin and Shanghai gradually became the "four major terminals" of Peking Opera.However,with the vigorous development of Beijing Peking Opera in Beijing and Shanghai,the development of Wuhan Peking Opera has encountered bottlenecks.After a period of exploration,it began in the late 1970 s and early 1980 s,Wuhan Peking Opera has gradually emerged with a number of outstanding repertoires such as "A Bag of Honey" and "Xujiujing's Promotion to the Official Records".Xizhigan,Xielu,Guodayu,Yuxiaoyu,and other directors of Wuhan Opera,as well as performance talents such as Zhushihui,Liuziwei,Zhanghuifang,Wanxiaohui and other performers,Opening up the precedent of "Harlequin playing the leading role",the "Hankou Women's Trilogy" represented by the "Life Show","Water Lantern" and "Beautiful Life" of the Wuhan Peking Opera Theatre was also born,injecting new vitality into the Wuhan Peking Opera,the reputation of the Hubei Peking Opera is getting louder and louder,and the praise for revitalizing the four major terminals is getting higher and higher.In the new era,the Hubei Peking Opera has a tendency to select materials that are contemporary,regional,and innovative,and has the characteristics of the times that are close to real life and show Jingchu civilization from a new perspective.In the selection and shaping of the protagonist characters,there are more features such as focusing on small people,highlighting feminism,and anti-conventional characters.At present,there are not many studies on the purpose of Hubei Peking Opera in the new period.It is more inclined to study a single work rather than based on the whole.Therefore,the topic of Hubei Peking Opera in the new period has research space.This paper takes the creation of Beijing Opera in the new period as an entry point,and studies the content of the repertoire and the writer as the research object.
