Report On Translation Of Foreign-related Legal Propaganda Texts

The author was entrusted by the Bureau of Justice of Jinhua City,Zhejiang Province,to participate in the translation of legal publicity texts in Yiwu,and was mainly responsible for the translation of legal materials concerning foreign legal affairs.The translation practice of foreign-related publicity texts are facilitated to regulate foreign-related activities in Yiwu City and to enhance the understanding of local regulations and rules.Furthermore,foreign people may pursue a better living environment.The author summarizes and analyzes key difficulties and solutions in the translation.This translation report can be divided into four chapters: The first chapter demonstrates the background and significance of this report.The second chapter describes the pre-translation preparation.The third chapter analyzes the major and difficult points encountered during the translation process,which weighs most in this report.The translation of fuzzy expressions,prohibitive norms and the“de(?)” structure as post-positive attributive have been explored in this part.Meanwhile,translation methods have been illustrated respectively.The fourth chapter is the conclusion of translation.The author endeavors to list unsolved problems as well as the proficiencies in the practice of this translation project,and put forward the prospect of future research in this field.
