In recent years,as one of the main directions of translation activities,the translation of novels has attracted more and more attention.With the continuous development of modern society,literary translation is exerting its own important potential,which not only deepens the mutual learning and mutual understanding between two different cultures,but also promotes the prosperity of national culture.This translation practice report is selected from Blue Blood,a novel written by well-known Russian writer Buyda Yu,which belongs to magical realism.This report mainly analyzes the translated text,the necessary stages of pre-translation preparation,and the translation process.In addition,the translator analyzes the difficulties encountered in translation and uses the corresponding translation methods to solve the problems.In the case study of this translation practice,the translator mainly uses the methods of amplification,reduction and translation shifts.In the process of translation practice,the experience is summarized and the conclusion is drawn.Through this translation practice,the translator analyzes and summarizes the difficulties and problems in the translation practice,and skillfully uses translation techniques and methods,hoping to continuously improve her translation skills.
