Expansion Into The Collective Action Research Of Motivation Mechanism Based On The Elaborated Social Identity Model

Collective action is a combined action that group members undertake with the goal to improve their group’s conditions. Our country is experiencing economic reform now and it lead to all kinds of social contradictions, so the number of collective actions increase gradually, especially for the mass incidents. Mass incidents has important significance to the social stability, so research the collective action represented by mass incidents has important theoretical significance and practical significance of public security management.With the deepening of the research on collective action, researchers have proposed the elaborated social identity model(ESIM), this model from the perspective of intergroup interaction to understand the social identity, social identity as a dynamic variable, will change with the interaction between the intergroup.This paper based on ESIM, by collective action classic research methods:virtual-reality paradigm, through two research, on the basis of validation of integrative social identity model of collective action(SIMCA), Integration of integrative S1MCA and ESIM, it realize the expansion of the model, and tries to put forward a new motivation mechanism of collective action model. The experiment one mainly explore the effection of intergroup interaction on group identity and collective action, moreover also examines the effection of intergroup interaction on group efficiency and group-based anger.The experiment two explore the effection of group identity and efficiency on collective action, furthermore examines the effection of group identity and group-based anger on collective action.In this paper, two research results show that:l,The intergroup interaction can dffect group identity, under the condition of unreasonable response, the group identity will be significantly enhanced, intergroup interaction can not only affect the group identity, will also effect the collective action and group-based anger.2, The intergroup interaction can predict happening of collective action directly, can also through the group efficiency and group-based anger indirectly predict happening of collective action.3, The group identity, efficiency and group-based anger can directly predict the happening of the collective action.4, The group identity plays the role of regulation between the group efficiency and collective action.
