As a unified multi-ethnic country,China was formed in a long historical process.Since ancient times,China has been a multi-ethnic country with the Han nationality as its main body.In ancient China, the northern or western peoples were called Hu.Hu Dance generally refers to the western music and dance from abroad. The introduction of Hu Dance promoted the exchange of dance art and culture between China andforeign countries, and became a unique style of dance in the history of Chinese ancient dance development. In this paper, historical philology is used to study, with the age as a clue,to analyze and discuss how Hu Dance,as a cultural exchange, spreads and develops. The full text is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction.By sorting out the inheritance relationship between the ancient and modern documents, the origin and evolution of Hu Dance are studied. To explore the purpose and significance of the topic, and discuss the current research situation of Hu Dance at home and abroad. The second chapter is about the introduction and development of Hu Dance in the Han Dynasty.Firstly,it introduces the concept of Hu Dance and the historical background of its introduction and development. This paper describes the Hu music and dance exchanges between Hans and Yi promoted by the Hu music and dance dance brought back to Chang'an by Zhang Qian of the Western Han Dynasty and the Hu music and dance in Shanglin Fu written by Sima Xiangru, and analyses and discusses the flourishing rise of Chang'an in court and folk during the Western Han Dynasty. In the late Eastern Han Dynasty,Hu Feng of kushan empire Empire was widely spread among the people and inside and outside the court. The third chapter is the historical evolution of Hu Dance in the Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties.Firstly,it is divided vertically into the Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, and its spreading process is discussed comprehensively. Then, the introduction of Tianzhu Music,Qiuci Music and the formation and dissemination of Xiliang Music in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties are discussed horizontally by dividing folk and palace regions. Finally, the development, organizational form and management mechanism of music and dance in the Western Regions in the court are discussed.Chapter four is the development and prosperity of Hu Dance in Sui and Tang Dynasty. This paper will be divided into three stages:Sui Dynasty, early Tang Dynasty and prosperous Tang Dynasty.Firstly, the internal causes and external conditions of its development and dissemination are explored from "Qiuzile" and"Gaochangle".Secondly,it explores the development of Hu Dance in the early Tang Dynasty in the folk and the court. The Tang Dynasty's concept of compatibility with foreign art, absorbing all the advantages and using them for me made Hu Dance develop rapidly in the Central Plains. Finally,it summarizes the prevalence and evolution of the three popular Hu dances in the Tang Dynasty, including Hu Xuan Dance,Zhezhi Dance and Hu Teng Dance,as well as the manifestations of Hu Dance in Nine episode music,Ten episode music,Sitting style dance and Standing style dance. The fifth chapter is the interpretation of the thinking and cultural value caused by the change of Hu Dance.Hu Dance has gradually formed its unique spiritual and cultural connotation in the long historical evolution, which not only promotes the development of the dance in the Central Plains, but also promotes the exchange and integration of music and dance culture between the Central Plains and the Western Regions.I hope to promote the research of this paper by exploring the remains of Hu Dance in Sinkiang folk dance and the development of Hui cultural lion dance. To help you understand the development history of Hu Dance and to put forward how to promote the inheritance and protection of Hu Dance is the problem we need to think about and put forward some feasible measures and programs for reference. The last part of the conclusion hopes that through summarizing the evolution of Hu dance in the Central Plains in the Han Dynasty,Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,Sui and Tang Dynasties and the embodiment of cultural value in today's ethnic folk dance,it will trigger the thinking of inheritance and protection of ethnic dance.
