In Tang Dynasty,the political situation was stable,the economy was developed,the country was strong,and the talents were widely accepted,which prompted people from all regions to study and do business in Tang Dynasty.Foreign cultures flowed into the Central Plains along the Silk Road,injecting new elements into the development of Tang culture.It is under the collision of tradition and foreign culture that the unique artistic style and aesthetic view of the Tang Dynasty came into being.Among them,the development of music and dance art not only affects the development of social hierarchy,music and dance,but also carries the process of integration with foreign cultural factors.From ritual and musical activities such as court sacrifices,court banquets and travel ceremonies to folk singing and dancing hundred operas,the important position and role of music and dance art in Tang Dynasty society are reflected.Because of the richness of court music and dance and the fluidity of folk music,it attracts a large number of scholars to study the art of music and dance in Tang Dynasty from many perspectives,including excellent scholars in archaeology,museology,music and so on.From this point of view,the author chooses to study the music and dance art of the Tang Dynasty,which is also most commendable.Chang'an,the capital city of Tang Dynasty,is the most concentrated area of cultural relics unearthed in Tang Dynasty.Many tombs of the Tang Dynasty and their unearthed cultural relics have traces of music and dance art.They are not only shown in tomb murals,but also in numerous unearthed terra-cotta figures.Terra Cotta Warriors not only carry the development of music and dance art,but also represent the development of Tang Dynasty sculpture.Vivid figurines not only provide material materials for the study of music history in Tang Dynasty,but also add a brilliant new chapter to the history of Chinese art.In view of this,this paper will study the Tang Dynasty musical figurines unearthed in Xi'an area,collect and sort out their data,compile and study them according to the chronological order of the epitaph.The author will collect and collate the archaeological data,search for the relevant ancient documents and materials to support it,and study it with reference to the theoretical knowledge of history,archaeology,music history and other disciplines,inspect the emergence and development of musical figurines from the perspective of archaeology,and combine with the pictures of musical figurines of the Tang Dynasty,strive to systematically analyze the shape,costume and support of musical figurines of the Tang Dynasty from the micro perspective.At the same time,under the guidance of the outstanding predecessors of the Tang Dynasty terracotta figures and music and dance art research,the development of Tang Dynasty instrumental music and singing and dancing art under the influence of the blending of Chinese and Western cultures is explored,trying to make a modest contribution to the study of Tang Dynasty terracotta figures.This paper is about 42,000 words,divided into four chapters to discuss:The first chapter is the introduction.The author will summarize the significance,current situation and research methods of the Tang Dynasty figurines unearthed in Xi'an,The second chapter studies the development of figurines and musical figurines.Firstly,it summarizes the emergence and development of figurines.Secondly,it inspects the distribution area and prosperous background of Tang Dynasty musical figurines.In the third chapter,the musical figurines are divided into two categories:musical and dancing figurines and advocating figurines.The archaeological data of Tang Dynasty musical figurines unearthed in Xi'an area are sorted out and studied in chronological order,and discussed from the perspectives of the identity of the tomb owner,the specifications of musical figurines,clothing and musical instruments.Finally,the above data are analyzed and summarized.Chapter IV discusses the development of music and dance art in Tang Dynasty from the perspective of ritual and music system and cultural exchange between China and the West.In the Tang Dynasty ritual music system,drumming music occupies an important position.The author will analyze the number of unearthed drumming figurines and explore their causes.However,while inheriting the previous ritual and music system,frequent cultural exchanges between the Tang Dynasty society and the Western Regions also had a far-reaching impact on the development of music and dance art.Taking the figurines carried by camels in Zhongbao Village as an example,the author tries to analyze the development characteristics of music and dance art under the influence of cultural exchanges between China and the West from the perspective of musical instrument sources,aesthetic concepts and clothing.
