As one of the types of Ming objects in ancient Chinese tombs,the accompanying wooden figurines are an important part of ancient Chinese tomb culture.According to the tombs of Tuyuhun royal family found at present,the number of tombs of Tuyuhun royal family in Wuwei area is the most and the,and a large number of cultural relics have been unearthed in the tombs,including a considerable number of painted wooden figurines.This article first combs the wooden figurines unearthed in the Tuyuhun tomb;secondly,analyzes the image characteristics and figure ratio of the terracotta figures buried in the Tuyuhun tomb,and then compares them with the hair style,dress,the shape of the Tang tomb murals and the costumes of the figures in the Tuyuhun tomb,which shows that the Tuyuhun is constantly intermingled with other ethnic groups;once again,analyzes the animal figurines and the town figurines unearthed in the Tuyuhun tomb,and thinks that the Tuyuhun in Wuwei area has the habit of realistic and martyrdom,which shows that the Tuyuhun people in Wuwei area are greatly influenced by the Tang Dynasty and Sinicized quickly;Finally,the artistic characteristics and causes of the terracotta figures in Wuwei area are analyzed and discussed,and the artistic characteristics of the terracotta figures are the embodiment of their ethnic integration,and the ethnic integration is the reason for the change of the artistic characteristics of the terracotta figures.
