A Study On The Vulgar Characters Of The Documents Of The Courtyard House In Jiachi, Guizhou

Jiachi courtyard documents is a typical representative of the Qingshuijiang documents and has a high research value.Mr.Wang Zongxun used his own local knowledge and research skills,together with field visit and investigation,through classification and detailed research,compiled a four-volume version of the Jiachi Courtyard Documents Interpretation.The article takes The Jiachi Courtyard Documents Interpretation as the research object.Firstly,the folk characters are collected and sorted out exhaustively in this book.On this basis,it analyzes the types and characteristics of the folk characters in the documents of the Jiachi Courtyard,understands the use of Chinese folk characters in minority areas,and explores the value of the folk characters for large-scale dictionary compilation.The text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is introduction.It introduces the general situation of the documents of the Jiachi Courtyard and then explains the basis of this topic.It also classifies the research status of Guizhou contract documents.Finally,it introduces the research methods of this paper.The second chapter is about the types and features of the folk characters of documents in the Jiachi Courtyard.In the classification of the types,referring to the classification of the predecessors,combining with the actual situation of the collected folk characters,the thesis divides these folk characters into eight categories.They are simplification,complexity,parts change,assimilation,writing change,abnormity borrowing,joined-up,and synthesis.And some categories are divided into several subcategories.Each category is defined first,and then the typical folk characters are selected for analysis.In terms of the features,the Jiachi Courtyard documents has the general features of the folk characters,namely inheritance,regionality and arbitrariness,but its performance is different,and the inheritance is greater than the regional one.The third chapter is explanation with examples of emendation on the documents of the Jiachi Courtyard.Through the comparison of recorded texts and photocopied pictures,there are still some problems in the compilation of the recorded texts.For example,in the word "yiqin","qin" is similar to the "shang" in handwritten font,and the organizer mistakenly records it as "clothing".We generalizes the problems into 12 categories and combines relevant knowledge to correct them.The errors include mistaken record due to incognizance of folk characters,missing collation due to incognizance,mistaken record due to the similar glyph,missed collation due to unclear meaning,missing collation due to the similar sound,mistaken record due to the similar sound,mistaken record due to ignorance of the the cursive script,mistaken punctuation due to unclear meaning,replaced by the sign"?" due to ignorance of folk characters,redundant character,missing character and others.The fourth chapter is the value of the study of the folk characters in the Jiachi Courtyard documents.Taking the Grand Dictionary of Chinese and Zhonghua Zihai as example,it states the role of supplementing the folk characters,and adding the illustrations in terms of folk characters research in the large-scare dictionary compilation.Among them,the latter is more important.It also provides a basis for the compilation of the contractual documents dictionary.Finally,it is the conclusion part,summarizing the full text and pointing out the inadequacies.The appendix is about the table of folk characters in the documents of the Jiachi Courtyard.
