At present, there are more and more demobilized soldiers in our country, whether the development of demobilized soldiers is good or not affects not only their personal development, but also our national defense and social stability. In terms of objects, demobilized soldiers mainly include three categories of personnel, the first category is conscripts, with a service time of 2 years,a short service time, and a short time of disconnection with social environment and social life; The second category is the non commissioned officers and transferred officers who voluntarily give up the placement work with retirement money, because of their active choice to give up being resettled, although they are separated from the social environment and social life for a long time, however, the individual has the initiative to choose, and the amount of retirement fund is relatively high. The third category is sergeants who have served for less than 12 years, the government will not allow such personnel to be resettled because they fail to meet the working conditions after retirement, the service time is long, and the retirement money is not high,so they can only choose jobs independently after retirement,In the face of unfamiliar social environment and social life, there are various problems of maladjustment. Therefore, the psychological adaptation of the last kind of personnel has become the focus of this paper.Based on the theory of social support and the perspective of superiority, this paper selects some demobilized soldiers who do not want to be resettled as the service objects, and works out the working objectives and group programs for the existing psychological adaptation problems,According to the group plan, the intervention was carried out. Finally, the changes of the group members were assessed by SAS,Rosenberg self-confidence scale and psychological adaptation assessment questionnaire,so as to get the conclusion that the group work has advantages in the psychological adaptation of the demobilized soldiers, and needs to continue to follow up through the case work. The significance of this paper is tosolve the problem of psychological adaptation of retired soldiers who are not resettled,so that they can actively integrate into the social environment, and provide relevant experience for social work to intervene in the field of preferential care and resettlement.
