The development of Chinese calligraphy has a history of about 5000 years up to now,and the evolution of calligraphy style was completed in the Han Dynasty.Seal,Li,Xing,Cao and Kai have been available.After the Wei,Jin,southern and Northern Dynasties,regular script and running script have become practical calligraphy style,and the calligraphy style has gradually formed,and the attention of the past dynasties to the two calligraphy styles has become more and more strong.Among them,regular script was widely influenced by Wei Bei and Tang Kai.Under the influence of the calligraphy style of regular script in Tang Dynasty,there appeared such regular script masters as Ouyang Xun,Yu Shinan,Chu suiliang and Xue Ji.Ouyang Xun's regular script works were also highly praised and favored by calligraphers for a long time,with a very strict degree of law,a sharp and neat style,a tight structure,and a simple and admiring style Mao Junmei.Based on the combination of the two kings' calligraphy,he made a pioneering contribution to calligraphy,which was taken as the aesthetic standard by the literati and officialdom,and the trend of "upholding the law" in Tang Dynasty began.As one of the representative calligraphers of Tang Kai,Ouyang Xun has a unique way of understanding and writing,which lays a solid foundation for the calligraphy style of the same era and later generations.Ouyang Xun's regular script is very rigorous in the use of pens and knots,with a slightly longer font,a tighter central palace,a prominent main pen,easy to put in and out,a neat and beautiful white space,and a vivid charm.Both the knots and the rules show a sense of stability in danger,which is just right.The representative works are Yao Bian's epitaph,Huadu Temple Monument,Jiucheng palace Liquan inscription,etc.It is self-evident that the formation of Ouyang Xun's regular script style has an impact on later generations.Calligraphers such as Yan Zhenqing,Huang Tingjian,Zhao Mengfu,Zhu Yunming,and Wang Yongfu,who are married to each other,have made a deep study of "European style".Yao Mengqi's version of "Jiu Cheng Gong Li Quan Ming" in the Qing Dynasty and Huang Ziyuan's "92 methods of the structure of the shelves" had a profound impact.Until now,Lu Zhongnan,Tian Yingzhang and other scholars from Europe have made important contributions to the contemporary scholars who study ouyangxun's regular script.Lu Zhongnan's ouyangxun's complete works of regular script and Tian Yingzhang's twenty eight methods of the structure of the shelf provide a good reference for our young scholars to learn ouyangxun's regularscript.Based on Ouyang Xun's calligraphy as the main reference,this paper has obtained some insights and Reflections after years of study and understanding of Ouyang Xun's regular script.The whole article expresses my attitude of continuing to study Ouyang Xun's regular script,shows his desire to return to traditional calligraphy and try to push through the old and bring forth the new.It tells his whole life's learning experience and style evolution process,rereads the classics and absorbs the rich nutrients in Ouyang Xun's calligraphy.This paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of later Calligraphers' learning ouyangxun's calligraphy,and rationally analyzes the ways and methods of learning ouyangxun's calligraphy at this stage.Combined with my graduation creation and daily practice,I got some experience of calligraphy creation,and made clear the direction and pursuit of calligraphy learning after graduation.At the same time,I hope to provide some practical suggestions for scholars studying Ouyang Xun regular script.
