At the end of the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, various local governments changed from the regimes under the control of the Tang court to independent regimes. In this process of change, various regimes have made a huge change in the political identity of the Tang Dynasty, which can be divided into three stages: decline, revival and dissolution. The decline in political recognition of the Tang dynasty by various regimes occurred between the Huang Chao uprising and the fall of Houliang, which was manifested by the local regime’s attitude towards the Tang court from fear to indifference to indifference.Eventually,Zhu Wen split up after the Tang Dynasty: Wu Yue,Fujian,Chu as the main government, abandoning political recognition of the Tang Dynasty, and transferred to Liang Zhengshuo;and Hedong,Jianghuai,Bashu,Qinqi as the main regime, continue to adhere to the political recognition of the Tang Dynasty, and call for the restoration of the Li Tang Dynasty to resist Rear beam oppression. The renaissance of the political identities of various dynasties to the Tang dynasty occurred after the establishment of the Tang Dynasty by Jin Wang Li Cunxu, and the elimination of the Houliang regime and the unification of the north of the Jianghuai. It is manifested by political and military pressures of the southern regimes, expressing political identity and political compromise to the Tang dynasty, which was nominally inherited by the late Tang Dynasty. However, since Mingzong Li Siyuan, who took over the rule of Li Cunxu, did not intend to continue to maintain the orthodox ideas of the Tang Dynasty, and shifted the focus from the southern regimes to the ruling territory, the time for the political renaissance of the Tang Dynasty ’s political identity was particularly short. The dissolution of the political identity of the Tang dynasty by various regimes mainly occurred during the existence of the Southern Tang Dynasty. This is manifested by the disregard of the Central Plains Houjin and Houhan regimes for theSouthern Tang regime ’s intention to continue the Tang Dynasty ’s participation in the struggle for orthodoxy.Attitudes indicate that the political powers of the Tang Dynasty entered into a state of dissolution at the same time. The reasons for the changes in the political identity of the Tang dynasty by various regimes are mainly in the following aspects: first, after the Tang Dynasty was overthrown,it continued to extend over time, and the political identities of the various regimes towards the Tang dynasty gradually weakened; The purpose of identification is to seek unity to end the split war.Although the Tang Dynasty and Southern Tang nominally inherited the Tang Dynasty, they did not achieve their goals.Instead, this identification gradually declined after a brief recovery; After the political identity lost the support of the underlying society, the intellectual class and the separatist forces gradually abandoned this idea;finally, when a truly unified emerging dynasty was established, all classes would pay their unified expectations to the emerging dynasty. The identity is completely dispelled.
