Albeniz's "Glass Tiles" Works And Performance Analysis

“Azulejos”is a piano works that Isaac Albéniz did not finish before his death and was later completed by his friend Enrique Granados in 1911.This work is in the late stage of Albéniz's creation,during this period the structure and texture of his works become huge and the harmony becomes more and more complicated.This paper starts with the creation process of piano music by Albéniz.Taking Azulejos as an example,describes the creation background of the music.By analyzing Azulejos' s musical structure,harmony,and summarizes the differences between this work and other works of Albéniz.Combined with the author's own performance practice,this paper discusses the performance characteristics of this piece of work from the aspects of voice crossing and the understanding of musical expression terms.
