"Oriental Elements" In Anthony Tapies' Artwork

Antoni Tapies(Antoni Tapies,1923-2012)(in this paper are Antoni Tapies)is one of the most outstanding spanish artists in the 20 th century.His art is the combination of the West and the East,rationality and spirit.On the one hand,he adheres to the Western abstract performance;on the other hand,he learns the Eastern Zen thought,absorbs the eastern factors for his own use,and forms the unique painting art of tapieus.This paper expounds the "Oriental elements" in tapieus' works of art from three aspects: tapieus' study of Oriental philosophy and art,the transformation of form and the embodiment of concept.This paper explores the Oriental art form of tapieus,and reveals the profound spirit and Orientalism in his works.Through the abstract deformation of the object,the inner reality behind the image is emphasized.The artistic concept is transformed to the spiritual and philosophical level with Oriental color.Tapieus' s unique view of Oriental culture makes his works Oriental to some extent,which is of great significance for us to stand in the Oriental position for artistic creation.He is like a pathfinder,to some extent,promotes the art dialogue between eastern and Western cultures,and urges us to absorb and explore the excellent art concepts and national culture more firmly,so as to form our own unique painting concept and unique understanding of the world.
