All the time,the pronunciation and memory of words have been the key and difficult points in English teaching in primary schools,and students have great difficulty in memorizing words.The reason lies in the lack of correct methods in vocabulary learning,and word memory is in the mode of unconscious imitation and rote memorization for a long time.Phonics is a set of spelling rules with corresponding relationship between sounds and letters.It attaches great importance to pronunciation.It can cultivate students' phonetic awareness,improve their spelling ability,cultivate their independent learning ability,and enhance their interest and enthusiasm in learning English.In view of the existing problems in primary school students' English vocabulary learning and the significant effect of phonics on vocabulary learning,the author tries to explore the optimization strategy of phonics in vocabulary teaching application,so as to help primary school students get out of the dilemma of English vocabulary learning.This study is of great significance.Firstly,helping students acquire systematic phonics rules,teaching students to use phonics to help them learn English vocabulary,is one of the important research topics in the English vocabulary teaching.Research on phonics in primary school vocabulary teaching can not only lead to further thinking about the content and method of phonics,but also enrich relevant contents in classroom teaching,vocabulary teaching and linguistics.Secondly,this study can inspire teachers to introduce phonics for vocabulary teaching,so that it can make students acquire phonics rules,improve the vocabulary teaching effect,improve the efficiency of primary school students' vocabulary learning,form and develop students' consciousness and ability to learn words independently;It helps to broaden the educational horizon of English teachers,promote the change of their educational concepts,and cultivate their awareness and ability of researching teaching methods;It provides effective practical experience for further promoting the reform of English curriculum.This study firstly expounds the relevant content of phonics,through questionnaire investigation,interview and observation,to understand the application status of phonics in primary school vocabulary teaching,to find out the problems existing in the application of phonics in vocabulary teaching in primary schools,and do attribution analysis.Finally,the optimization strategy of phonics in primary school vocabulary teaching is obtained.This study consists of five parts.The first part is an introduction.The second part is a survey of the application of phonics in primary school vocabulary teaching.The third part is about the problems existing in the application of phonics in primary school English vocabulary teaching.The fourth part is the attribution analysis of the problems existing in the application of phonics inprimary school English vocabulary teaching.The fifth part is the optimization strategy of phonics in primary school English vocabulary teaching.According to the needs of the survey,this study selects some teachers and students of primary schools in F city as the respondents,mainly using questionnaire survey,interview,observation and case analysis.Based on the investigation and analysis of the current situation of phonics in primary school English vocabulary teaching,the author finds that there are the following problems in the teaching of phonics in primary school English vocabulary teaching: teachers do not operate properly in the teaching of phonics;Students lack effective learning and application.In view of the above problems,the author makes an in-depth analysis of the reasons,makes an attribution analysis from the four aspects of school,teacher,student and textbook,and puts forward the application strategies of phonics in primary school English vocabulary teaching,which are expounded from the perspectives of schools,teachers,teaching strategies and methods,and classroom teaching modes.The innovation points of this research are as follows: firstly,the perspective of this study is comprehensive and in-depth.This study is done through systematic literature study and application study,to understand,actual survey and interview he application status of phonics in vocabulary teaching,and through the actual classroom observation and practical teaching to find out the problem.This study further discusses the existing problems in vocabulary teaching of phonics,puts forward the phonics optimization strategies in English vocabulary teaching in elementary school,and the systematic study of the combination of theory and practice has a certain targeted and reference value.Secondly,the research pays more attention to the optimization of teaching strategies and the exploration of teaching methods.This study not only focuses on phonics,but also pays more attention to the teaching activities in the application process.Through the actual observation of classroom teaching and the author's actual teaching,the writer combines with the teaching cases of others and her own,by summing up and analysis,to explore a variety of teaching strategies and methods,trying to build a set of efficient classroom teaching mode and change the dilemma of phonics in vocabulary teaching.Primary school is the foundation for the future each learning stage.This study aims to arouse more teachers focus on phonics,hopes that the teachers can start with phonetics when teaching vocabulary and can systematically teach phonics rules so as to change the pattern of learning English vocabulary by rote,develop an autonomous ability of learning words and prepare for primary school students' long-term and future English learning.
