Whether at home,on campus or in society,aggressive behavior of children seems to occur frequently.The phenomenon of the minor harmful behavior to family members and bullying to peers in school has attracted the attention of many scholars.Aggressive behavior is considered one of the most serious mental health problems in children in both eastern and western cultures.In China,18 percent of school-age children have aggressive behavior.The General Aggression Model(GAM)holds that situational factors and human factors generate aggressive behavior by causing an individual's internal state at that time.Among them,for the human factors,the parenting style in the family,especially the warmth of parents,which promote the continuous development of individual personality traits,have a very important impact on individual aggression.Empathy plays an indispensable role in the internal state of the individual.Of this study was to explore school-age children's parents' emotional warmth and direct relationship of aggressive behavior,as well as parents' emotional warmth,empathy and aggressive behavior of indirect relationship,insight into the factors affecting children aggressive behavior of people(parent warmth),internal states(children's empathy),improved way for parents and children's empathy training guide,to reduce the frequency of children aggressive behavior to provide a certain psychological basis.In this study,primary schools in four regions of shandong province were randomly selected and the subjects were students in grade 4,5 and 6.The group test was conducted with the Parental Warmth Scale,Basic Empathy Scale and Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire.After eliminating invalid questionnaires,1246 valid questionnaires were obtained.SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 24.0 were used to input and analyze the data.The following conclusions were drawn:First,parental warmth,empathy and children's aggressive behavior have significant differences in demographic variables such as gender,origin,grade and whether they are only children.Second,parental warmth and empathy are significantly correlated with children's aggressive behavior.In particular,parental warmth and the total score of aggressive behavior was negatively correlated.Cognitive empathy and the total score of empathywere negatively correlated with the total score of aggressive behavior.The positive correlation is between parental warmth and empathy.Thirdly,parental warmth directly affects children's aggressive behavior,and it can also indirectly affect children's aggressive behavior through empathy,that is,empathy plays a part in mediating between parental warmth and children's aggressive behavior.
