The Hungarian Rhapsodies is a set of 19 piano pieces based on Hungarian folk songs and dances,composed by Franz Liszt.In these works,the composer chose the Hungarian Gypsy folk dance “Czardas”,on the basis of which elements of the dance were artistically processed and innovated,applied to different works,created in different ways and reinterpreted in musical form.The tenth Hungarian Rhapsody was published in 1853 and the score is dedicated to Egressy.The structure of the work is very refined and extremely rich,not being played the most often,but the difficulty of playing it is one of the more difficult of the nineteen,the theme melody is constantly varied with different ornamentation enriched the content of the music,but the central idea of the music is always clear and consistent.This article will analyze the harmonies,forms,playing methods and versions of the work from the point of view of the author's life and creative direction,so that you can grasp all aspects of the work,deepen your understanding of the work,make your playing more proficient and improve your understanding of the movement.
