On Liuqin's Performance And Emotional Expression

The folk instrument of our country,liuqin,its earliest history can be traced back to the 1860 s.It was not until the end of 1950 s that he was discovered by Mr.Wang huiran,a famous Chinese performer and composer.With the cooperation of xuzhou ethnic musical instrument factory,Mr.Wang huiran transformed the liuqin,and this ethnic musical instrument was truly revitalized.Nowadays,Liuqin's performance in China has developed rapidly.New techniques and new works are emerging one after another.What is particularly gratifying is that after the Liuqin art spread to Taiwan in the 1980 s,it developed rapidly there.At present,more and more people are engaged in playing and teaching Liuqin in Taiwan.Liuqin has also become a necessary instrument for many national orchestras in Taiwan.The Liuqin community in Taiwan not only actively studies,for example,studying Liuqin playing methods and playing Liuqin works on the mainland,but also actively creates Liuqin music works.Among them,Taiwan composer Mr.Su Wenqing,and his creation of "Cat 's Wordless Song" is a very outstanding representative work of Liuqin.Liuqin music-"Cat's Wordless Song",whose creation draws on the European "wordless song"(also known as "wordless song",a highly singing small instrumental music body),ingeniously blending Chinese and Chinese Different cultural elements in the West.The opening of the Liuqin tune represents the first of its kind in animal subjects.Through the meticulous depiction of the two kittens,"Cat 's Wordless Song" sang and expressed a strong love.As soon as the liuqin song appeared,it attracted the attention of the liuqin community at home and abroad because of its novel concept,the clever fusion of traditional and modern elements.In particular,many novel elements appearing in the works have inspired people who are currently engaged in Liuqin performance,teaching,and creation,and have raised some new issues that deserve attention and consideration.This paper intends to take "Cat 's Wordless Song" as an example,combined the composition background,music style characteristics,music image,emotional expression and performance method of the song.In order to complete the performance of modern Liuqin music,how to carry out scientific training and quickly improve the performance level,etc.,briefly outline my views.
