Motivation is the motivation to motivate an individual to engage in a certain behavior,often manifested in the desire to work hard to achieve a certain purpose.The research found that the effect of language learning is particularly obvious by the influence of motivational factors.In the process of teaching Chinese abroad,the correct establishment of Chinese learning motivation can improve students' interest in learning and enhance their enthusiasm to learn Chinese.However,in real life,many learners in The Chinese learning in the phenomenon of motivation decline,many foreign middle school students,vocational school students even have "Why should I learn Chinese?" "Such a question.Therefore,to understand the current situation of Chinese learners' motivation,to find the factors that cause the lack of motivation,to cure the disease,to help students solve the difficulties of Chinese learning,to improve students' interest in Chinese learning,learning enthusiasm and learning effect,to promote the promotion of Chinese international education,all have its important significance.This study on motivation takes Thai vocational school students as the target,and selects more than 700 students from 10 vocational schools in north,middle and south of Thailand as a sample of questionnaires and interviews,through questionnaires,interviews,The methods of classroom observation and literature research investigate the current situation and characteristics of Chinese learning motivation for Thai vocational school students and the factors that cause them to have the lack of Motivation for Chinese learning.The results of the survey found that the motivation of Thai vocational school students in Chinese learning has a certain degree of compoundity,internal motivation is weak,the overall stability is poor,the tool-type motivation is strong,there is a clear lack of motivation.The three most important factors that contribute to the lack of learning motivation are diverse and complex: 1.Thai vocational school students lack sufficient self-confidence in Chinese learning;(Learner factors)2.Most Thai vocational school students do not have good foreign language learning habits;(Learner factors)3.Environmental factors and teacher factors.(Learning situational level)Finally,this study puts forward the coping strategies for the lack of motivation for Chinese learning in Thai vocational school students from three levels: language,learner and learning situation.It is hoped that these strategies can help to stimulate the motivation of Chinese learning for Thai vocational school students and improve the effectiveness of Chinese teaching in Thai vocational schools,and then provide general solutions and references for Chinese learners in different education systems and different learning stages of Chinese language education when there is a lack of motivation.
