This article focuses on non-Chinese majors students from Suranaree University of Technology,Thailand,to study their lack of motivation and corresponding teaching strategies.This paper takes the factors of Chinese learning motivation and lack of motivation as the investigation content,and designs the Chinese learning motivation scale and motivation loss scale.Through SPSS.18 data analysis,two important findings are drawn: The lack of Chinese students' motivation in the school is obvious.However,the lack of default motivational factors has little relevance to the lack of student motivation.The explanation we found was that students from different backgrounds have similar levels of motivational deficiencies,and their attitudes toward Chinese learning are not correct.No matter whether objective or subjective influence factors are constrained by the lack of motivation,it is not too Can show its influence.In the later part of this paper,the current situation of the lack of Chinese motivation in Suranaree University of Technology is given.The relevant suggestions and teaching strategies are given in terms of schools(value of emphasis,curriculum setting,context setting,selection of teaching materials)and teachers.Due to the fact that the non-Chinese majors in Suranaree University of Technology have a certain degree of representation,the survey results and related suggestions in this paper can be used as reference for front-line overseas Chinese teachers.
