Research On Extracurricular Exercises In The Comprehensive Textbook "Developing Chinese"

In the teaching of Teaching Chinese As Foreign Language(TCFL),classroom teaching and extracurricular practice are two pillars.At present,the research results of classroom teaching are far more than extracurricular practice.In the research results of extracurricular practice,there are few articles about the extracurricular practice of Chinese teaching for foreign students based on the practice of teaching materials.In view of the current situation that the advantages of extracurricular practice are not fully utilized in Chinese teaching and the practice designed in the teaching materials are not fully utilized,based on the existing extracurricular practice research,this paper uses three comprehensive teaching materials:Developing Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Course(Ⅱ),Developing Chinese Intermediate Comprehensive Course(Ⅰ)and Developing Chinese Intermediate Comprehensive Course(Ⅱ)The main research object is "going out of class and expanding learning".This paper analyzes the setting and use of the extracurricular expanding exercises in the three textbooks,so that students can make full use of the extracurricular language environment to achieve the real communication of Chinese,so as to deepen the understanding of classroom knowledge in practice and achieve the goal of Chinese teaching.In order to achieve this goal,the main research context of this paper is as follows:The first part of the introduction introduces the background and significance of the research and related research works,and summarizes the research status of related directions.The second part mainly analyzes the extracurricular expansion exercises in the three Comprehensive Textbooks of “Developing Chinese” from the four aspects of the quantity,type,difficulty and characteristics of the exercises in the textbook,and summarizes the relevant situations.The third part is carried out mainly through two ways:the questionnaire and interview to analyze the setting and use of extracurricular expansion exercise in the three Comprehensive Textbooks of “Developing Chinese” so as to collect the results.The fourth part is conducted mainly through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire and interviews,and points out that there are some problems in the setting of extracurricular expansion exercises,such as the simple types of questions in some textbooks,the lack of specific requirements for the questions,the low frequency of the overall use of teachers and students,and the different quality of students’ completion,and further analyzes the reasons for the problems in the setting and use.The fifth part mainly puts forward suggestions from two aspects:the setting of extracurricular expansion exercises and the use of extracurricular expansion exercises.In thesetting of extracurricular expansion exercises,it puts forward three suggestions: the specific requirements of extracurricular expansion exercises,the design of exercises with the help of chart factors and the addition of cross-cultural factors.In the use of extracurricular expansion exercises,it puts forward that teachers and students should improve their awareness of the importance of exercises.Teachers should deal with exercises flexibly,students should complete the exercises in groups and make full use of the Internet platform to complete four suggestions.The sixth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the article,and the outlook of the research of extracurricular expansion exercises in TCFL.This paper mainly studies the extracurricular expansion exercises in the comprehensive teaching materials of Chinese as a foreign language,trying to give full play to the advantages of extracurricular expansion exercises in Chinese teaching,which also has certain significance in enriching the research of extracurricular practice of Chinese as a foreign language.
