Mind wandering is a phenomenon of attention from current tasks or external events to spontaneous thinking and emotions within,which we sometimes call: distraction,daydreaming,mental wandering,etc.Mind wandering is common in everyone's daily life,work and study.However,when daydreaming occurs in the education environment,the quality of teaching and learning must be affected.In the process of teaching and learning,students need to stay focused for a period of time,but when classroom distraction occurs,students will miss many important contents in the course of teacher's lecture.Classroom distraction not only affects students' learning efficiency,teachers' teaching quality,but also has a great impact on teachers' emotions,students' habits and personality cultivation.In order to explore the degree and current situation of middle school students' classroom daywandering,to understand the main characteristics of middle school students' classroom daywandering,and to explore the influencing factors that may lead to daywandering,this study has developed an effective measurement tool to measure the frequency of classroom daywandering in middle school students,so as to provide basic support for the future study of classroom daywandering in middle school students.In this study,through a large number of reading relevant materials of distraction at home and abroad,interviews and surveys middle school,first-tier teachers and education experts,conducted several task group meetings for analysis and discussion,established alternative project libraries,and invited experts to conduct special evaluation through thematic group discussion and analysis,and established the initial questionnaire after selecting and revising the topic.The questionnaire was conducted in tianjin jinnan district,xuzhou,jiangsu province and the five middle schools in hebei province.The first survey questionnaire was issued 185 questionnaires,161 effectively recovered,and the effective recovery rate was 87.03%.In the second test,a total of 1894 questionnaires were distributed,1,667 questionnaires were collected effectively,and the effective recovery rate was 88.01%.After two weeks,180 subjects were selected for repeated testing,136 questionnaires were collected effectively,and the effective recovery rate was 75.56%.Through data analysis,according to the project deletion standards,selection and modification of topics,and the final questionnaire retained 43 items.The middle school students' mind-wandering questionnaire in class consists of three parts: the first part is the frequency of mind-wandering of middle school students;the second part is the subjective and objective factors of mind-wandering of middle school students;the third part is the time distribution of mind-wandering of middle school students.Survey questionnaire through the analysis of large scale for measuring frequency of the first part of middle school students' distraction questionnaire internal consistency reliability is 0.952,1/2 reliability is 0.922,retest reliability is 0.760,the questionnaire in the second part distracted subjective and objective factors questionnaire(internal consistency reliability is0.863,1/2 reliability is 0.839,retest reliability is 0.673,visible,the questionnaire has high internal stability,stability across time conform to the requirements of the questionnaire compiled.Moving with the mind wandering frequency scale and psychological questionnaire as a criterion,the first part of the questionnaire validity criterion correlation analysis,the first part of this questionnaire and mind wandering frequency questionnaire correlation coefficient is0.832,is associated with moving psychological questionnaire is 0.751,the correlation coefficient is higher,shows that middle school students distracted frequency questionnaire had good criterion validity.In the second part of the questionnaire,the confirmatory factor analysis shows that the basic fit degree ofthe model is good,which indicates that the questionnaire structure validity of subjective and objective factors of middle school students' mind wandering in class is good.It has been verified by many parties that the questionnaire for middle school students' mind wandering in class has reached a good measurement standard and can be used to measure middle school students' mind wandering in class.
