A Report On The Translation Practice Of I. Melnikova's Detective Novel "Tango On The Beach"

Detective novel,as the most popular genre of popular literature,occupies a place in Russian literature.This kind of novel describes the occurrence and the process of the cases,which has a great attraction to the readers.Irina melnikova is a famous Russian writer of detective stories.In 1997,she began to write novel and published her first work ?The unfinished romance?.Her detective novel ?Tango on the beach?,published in Russia in 2008,has yet to be translated into Chinese.This thesis,based on the detective novel ?Tango on the beach? written by Irina melnikova,is a translation practice report.In this report,the author discusses the methods and techniques used in translation from the aspects of vocabularies and sentences.And then,the author analyses and explains the examples.Through translating this novel,the author not only improve her translation level,but also accumulate her translation experience.It also provides some valuable materials for studying the works of Irina melnikova.
