Research On Shanghai Film Projection Team (1949-1958)

In the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the communist party of China established film screening teams throughout the country.Through the film screening team,the communist party of China not only publicized the national policies and realized the effective mobilization of various political movements,but also enriched the entertainment life of the masses and spread cultural knowledge,thus realizing the cultural transformation of the rural society.Previous study of film screening system and screening process and effect to investigate insufficiency,this article takes Shanghai as an example,starting from the establishment of the movie team,explore team in expanding and causes of the problems of development,show the government’s regulation of projectionist,reductive movie team showing mobilization in the country of operation pattern,mining team for the country and the influence of the grassroots.The first chapter introduces the origin and historical background of Shanghai film screening team.The second chapter discusses the establishment of the film screening team in Shanghai and the reform of the private film screening team.Chapter three presents the whole process of the expansion and development of the film screening team and the existing "personnel" and "system" problems.The fourth chapter summarizes the countermeasures to solve the problems of "personnel" and "system" in Shanghai.The projectionist should be rectified from three aspects of training,model evaluation and salary adjustment.The above problems are solved to a certain extent by adjusting the projection system by defining the route of projection and setting up the work method of fixed time and fixed point.In chapter five and chapter six,through the discussion on the management and operation mode of the film screening team and the interpretation of the villagers’ movie-watching behavior,this paper affirms the significance and value of the screening team in the grassroots cultural construction in the early days of the founding of new China.
