The attention to modern daily life of Impressionist art runs through all aspects of its theory and practice, but as a theory of Everyday life, impressionism has not yet been put forward. From the perspective of culture as a whole, this paper combines the impressionist art practice, life style and methodology in thinking, and try to lay the foundation of the Everyday life theory of impressionism. In this paper, the Everyday life theory of impressionism is divided into three levels: In art practice, the Impressionists formed a new world view through the innovation of light-color theory and responded positively to modern daily life;In life style, the Impressionists tried to criticize the reificated and monotonous life time under the capitalist system and in pursuit of "instant" experience; In methodology in thinking,Impressionism believes that the fundamental problem of modern daily life lies in the lack of "totality",so it tries to recover and reconstruct this totality and obtain freedom by capturing instant and fragmented images. Finally, from the perspective of Marxism, this paper makes a preliminary examination and evaluation of the Everyday life theory of impressionism. The results are as follows: First,Impressionism emphasizes the direct way of understanding such as experience and intuition, which leads to its world view still not divorced from the influence of capitalist commodity fetishism and it is a positive construction based on the reificated consciousness.Second,The methodology of Impressionism is a kind of totality method without "intermediary",which eventually leads to the subjectivity and mysticism of the totality it recovers.Thirdly, the solution of Impressionism to modern daily life is a kind of aesthetic salvation, which cannot eliminate the problems of modern daily life.
