Analysis And Creative Research On The Structure Of Modernist Painting

Modernism,also known as modernism,emerged from the end of the 19 th century to the middle of the 20 th century.Its thought,as a kind of consciousness,not only changed the way artists look at it,but also changed the way modern people look at it.Modernist painting abandoned the traditional way of seeing and the law of perspective,negated the decisive role of content on form,and paid attention to the canvas itself,making the painting itself rather than the imitation of nature,aiming at exploring and pursuing new art forms.Based on this exploration and pursuit,artists began to pay attention to the study of painting structure.The structure of modernist painting is based on the basic feature of modernist painting--"planarization"(greenberg's language).Therefore,the structure of modernist painting is a "planarization" structure.It is a kind of visual order existing in the two-dimensional plane space on the limited canvas,which is shown in the picture as the order of the elements of the picture,such as shape,color,space,line and texture.From Cezanne,the father of modernist painting,to fauvism,cubism,expressionism,abstract painting and other schools of modernism,the structure in painting has shifted from better representation of natural illusion to the study and attention to the picture itself.The artist constructs the plane space in the picture through the structure,and takes the structure as the carrier to carry his artistic concept,subjective emotion and the expansion of the painting language.This paper studies the structure of modernist painting.Based on the clear understanding of modernism painting structure,to influence for the order,by the method of literature research,concept analysis of modernism painting works of various genres of structure is analyzed,aimed to explore in the process of the development of modernism painting evolution and characteristics of structure,and its specific performance in the contemporary art;Finally,through the analysis of the structure of modernist painting,combined with their own feelings of the current social life,to carry out creative research.
