A Study Of Proverbs In The Four Major Types Of Books In The Song Dynasty

Chinese proverbs are huge in number,they contain different kinds of content.They are deeply rooted in national languages,reflecting the local natural environment,local customs and practices and living customs.It is an important role for the study of social folklore.In the Four kinds of Books in Song Dynasty,what is the reference books with material taken from various sources in and before Song Dynasty,there are a rich number of proverbs.These describe in detail the geography,products,customs,characters and so on in and before Song Dynasty.By the study of the proverbs collected in the Four kinds of Books in the Song Dynasty,we can understand the local geographical environment,property customs,etc.It helps us to analyze its development of social history.The main body of the thesis is divided into four parts:The first chapter is the classification of proverbs in the Four kinds of Books in Song Dynasty.Firstly,according to source,the proverbs will be divided into oral and written language.Secondly,they also can divide into natural proverbs and social proverbs according to the content to make textual criticisms and explanations.It mainly reflects the natural environment and social outlook before Song Dynasty.The second chapter is the evolution of the proverbs in the Four kinds of Books in Song Dynasty.This chapter is discussed from three aspects: form,stylistic and significance.The form aspect is divided into word and construction.According to the evolution,we can get a glimpse of the development of proverbs and the characteristics of different periods,as evidence of the study of lexical language research.The third chapter is a textural research on the natural proverbs and social proverbs of the Four kinds of Books in Song Dynasty.The natural proverbs include meteorological phenology and geographical environment.The social proverbs explain three kinds of proverbs: daily life,social phenomena and anecdotes of famous men.So the paper will search literature to analyze the meaning of the proverbs,then they can help us to learn about the daily life and historical events of the old natives.The fourth chapter is the cultural study of the Four kinds of Books in Song Dynasty.The proverbs are multifarious and contain different culture activities in different dynasty.Therefore,the paper will study the cultural significance of the proverbs from the aspects of material culture and spiritual culture.Material culture is mainly about food culture,while spiritual culture includes consciousness culture and philosophical wisdom.They show the people the eating habits,belief and life experience of the old native.
