The research object of this paper is Grieg's sonata for piano and violin in c minor.The composer of this piece is the representative composer of Norwegian folk music,Edward Grieg.Grieg composed three sonatas for violin and piano,and this piece is the last one.The performance skills,musical styles,and expressiveness of this piece are more mature and representative.In addition to studying and analyzing the performance skills and overall music style of the work,this paper explores more about the relationship between the work and Norwegian folk music.This paper is mainly through the display of music score examples to interpret the creation characteristics of this work and the main points of performance.And the music style of this work is analyzed by combining with the Norwegian traditional folk instrument Hardingfele.
