On The Metaphorical Presentation Of Psychological Images In Paintings

Psychological image is the subjective image in people's heart,which refers to the inner emotional image and reflects the complex and polymorphic inner world of characters.How are these mental images presented and further metaphorized in artistic creation? In western paintings,influenced by perceptual experience and influenced by subjective consciousness or psychological state,the painter often interprets the truth through the distortion of real things and presents different psychological images through various artistic languages,which are used as language symbols to metaphorize psychological,political,cultural and social aspects.This article will compare analysis of western art related artists in different periods for the images of "mental image" in the painting creation,through to the mental image in painting forms the formation and development of metaphor and symbol,and combined with the research of personal creative practice,discusses the contemporary artists in life for the pursuit of the spirit world and the reflection of human condition.
