Gao jianfu was the core figure of the Lingnan Painting School.At that time,under the background of the East learning from the West,Chinese traditional culture and values are affected.The political revolution inspired the artistic revolution,Gao jianfu began to promote the "new Chinese painting" movement.The new Chinese painting has made a breakthrough in form and thought.On the one hand,it retains the characteristics of traditional painting,on the other hand,it integrates western painting factors to form a new expression."New Chinese painting" has many differences from traditional painting in terms of subject matter,composition and technique of expression,which is also an important part of gao jianfu's creation in Chinese painting.This paper starts with the creation of Chinese painting,discusses the way out of the innovation of Chinese painting,and gao jianfu gave me the enlightenment.The article is divided into three parts.The first part discusses the historical background of the new Chinese painting and gao jianfu's artistic ideals.The second part focuses on the expansion of new Chinese painting themes and the innovation of forms in combination with gao jianfu's specific works.On the one hand,he endowed the old forms with new meanings,or adopted new techniques or broadened the types of expression.On the other hand,he creatively introduced new subjects into his paintings,bringing new things that had never been seen before,including modern technology,directly into his paintings.The innovation of "new Chinese painting" actually originated from gao jianfu's concern for the reality in his artistic creation.It was precisely because of this concern for the reality and the living condition of human beings that he chose new subjects different from traditional paintings in the great social changes.The third part discusses my creation and influence of gao jianfu's artisic thought and practice on me.His actual concern has inspired me a lot,enabling me to find creative factors in reality and express my thoughts on real life.
