Paying attention to the physical and mental development of migrant children after entering the new environment over time plays an important role in promoting the healthy growth of migrant children. In recent years, the relationship between social and cultural adaptation and resilience of migrant children has gradually become a research trend. However, the development trend of social and cultural adaptation of migrant children, and the relationship between resilience and changes in social and cultural adaptation over time need to be further explored. In addition, what mechanisms are used to make cultural adaptation for migrant children need further research.Based on the perspective of longitudinal research, this study explores the relationship and mechanism of migrant children's social and cultural adaptation and resilience to dynamic changes. This study can be divided into the following three studies:Study 1 uses the method of latent variable growth model to analyze the current status of social and cultural adaptation of 124 migrant children at three time points and their development trends and characteristics over time;Study 2 focuses on the socio-cultural adaptation problems encountered by migrant children in the process of social integration in the new environment, and explores the relationship between changes in socio-cultural adaptation and resilience of migrant children(Primary 4-6 grade group)as an example, using a cross-lag model to analyze the relationship between social and cultural adaptation and resilience of migrant children;Study 3 incorporates the cognitive factor of discrimination perception and uses a cross-lag method to examine whether the discrimination perception of migrant children can mediate the relationship between social and cultural adaptation and resilience. The results show that:(1)The mean value of the social and cultural adaptation of migrant children at the three time points firstly increases, and then decreases. The fitting index of the linear unconditional latent variable growth model of the social and cultural adaptation of migrant children is:?~2=25.563,df=1,RMSEA=0.464,SRMR=0.077,CFI=0.667,TLI=0.002;The fitting index of the undefined curve latent variable growth model is:?~2=0.000,df=0,RMSEA=0.000,SRMR=0.000,CFI=1.000,TLI=1.000;The fitting index of the limited slope factor load model is:?~2=0.000,df=1,RMSEA=0.000,SRMR=0.000,CFI=1.000,TLI=1.038.The fit indices of the three latent variable growth models are not ideal.(2)The correlation between the socio-cultural adaptation and resilience of migrant children measured on three occasions shows a moderate degree of stability, with a correlation coefficient between 0.35 and0.67;The model of the relationship between migrant children's social and cultural adaptation and resilience is good:?~2/df=2.167,CFI=0.946,TLI=0.922,IFI=0.947,RMSEA=0.097.Social and cultural adaptation at the T1 time point can significantly positively predict the resilience at the T2 time point(?=0.29,p<0.01),and the resilience at the T2 time point can also significantly positively predict social and cultural adaptation at the T3 time point(?=0.38,p<0.001).(3)Socio-cultural adaptation, resilience, and discrimination perception of migrant children in three measurements showed significant correlations, with correlation coefficients between 0.18 and 0.67.The inclusion of a cross-lag model for discrimination perception shows that the model fits well:?~2/df=1.700,CFI=0.926,TLI=0.910,IFI=0.928,RMSEA=0.075.Social and cultural adaptation at the T1 time point can significantly positively predict resilience at the T2(?=0.26,p<0.05)and significantly negatively predict the level of discrimination perception(?=-0.27,p<0.05).The perception of discrimination at T1 can significantly negatively predict the level of social and cultural adaptation at T2(?=-0.24,p<0.05),and the perception of discrimination at T2 can significantly negatively predict the level of social and cultural adaptation at time T3(?=-0.20,p<0.01).The resilience at T2 time point can significantly predict the level of social and cultural adaptation at T3 time point. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The social and cultural adaptation and development trajectory of migrant children groups and individuals in Nanjing City,Jiangsu Province has not changed significantly at the initial level and development speed.(2)The social and cultural adaptation and resilience development of migrant children in Nanjing City,Jiangsu Province are mutually causal in the course of time changes.(3)Migrant children's perception of discrimination fails to serve as a mediating mechanism for resilience and social and cultural adaptation;discrimination perception and social and cultural adaptation levels show a time-lagging relationship in the process of development over time. This study takes migrant children as subjects, and uses a tracking perspective to investigate the relationships and mechanisms of social and cultural adaptation, resilience, and perception of discrimination. It provides more specific event-based guidance and recommendations for migrant children's psychological education problems and interventions.
