Research On The Social Participation Mechanism Of Community Corrections Work

Community correction originated in Europe and the United States in the 20th century,and then in Chinese Beijing,Shanghai and other cities to open the pilot,and continue to move forward in the exploration.With the continuous development and improvement of community correction,the role of the public has been concerned,and social participation in community correction has gradually been put on the agenda.The current situation of social participation in community correction work is not very ideal,such as the low level of social participation.For this reason,the author chooses two community correction management education service centers in K District and G District of Y City as the research object,and makes a research on the community correction in this area.The social participation of work is an empirical study.This article takes the participation observation,the questionnaire survey and the interview as the main method,through the participation observation,aims to understand the local community correction social participation present situation from the supervision management,the education correction,the help education service,the community service and so on;Through the questionnaire survey to understand the willingness and current situation of social citizens and volunteers to participate in community correction;through interviews to explore the effect of social participation on community prisoners.Based on the empirical research on the current situation of social participation in the two districts,the author takes the stair theory of the citizen participation of Astin as a visual angle,analyzes the breadth of the social participation in Y city from the perspective of the universality of the participants and the diversity of the participation channels,and analyzes the breadth of the social participation in Y City from the perspective of false participation and symbolism.This paper analyzes the depth of social participation in the two districts of the city.The organic combination of the breadth and depth of social participation facilitates a better analysis of the extent of social participation in the city;the purpose of assessing the effectiveness of the process and its effects is to understand whether social participation has an impact on community correctors.And what the impact is.In the study of community correction work in K District and G District of Y City,the author takes social organizations,social workers,volunteers and families,enterprises and institutions as the main participants.It is found that the social participation in the two districts has the following problems:low participation consciousness,weak participation force,low participation quality,high participation mobility,low participation level,insufficient interaction among the participants and so on.The main reasons for these problems are insufficient cognition of social participation,limited ability of social participation,lack of relevant institutional protection and so on.Based on this,the author puts forward some feasible suggestions:perfecting the relevant legal system,strengthening social propaganda and implementing reference With the protection mechanism and incentive mechanism of the main body to stimulate the enthusiasm of social participation,clear the power and responsibility division between the various departments and the participants,realize the effective interaction of the participants,broaden the channels of participation,innovate the way of social participation,achieve the stratified management,mobilize the enthusiasm of the participants at all levels and promote the cooperative participation of the society.
